My Dad Ken Ball loved Christmas. In later years he recalled the night the war ended as one of the finest of his life,the other was Christmas 1945 in the Battalion mess on the Island of New Britain at Rabaul. It was the last time the 29/46 Aust Inf Bn was complete. Miss you Dad
