At 09:34 Royston Fire Station and Baldock Fire Station were mobilised to a vehicle fire on the A505 Royston roundabout. Hose reels were used to extinguish the flames 🚒 🚒


Great work today supported by Baldock Fire Station extinguishing large agricultural vehicle fire in Offley.



Mobilised with Royston Fire Station Baldock Fire Station over the border to assist Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service on another large crop fire today. Another ongoing similar incident close by with further Herts Fire & Rescue resources in attendance. Dedicated graft as always by all involved 🔥


01:09 Both crews from Baldock Fire Station were mobilised to Damask Close in Weston. They discovered a fire in a bin store with the smoke affecting adjoining properties.

At 10:52 control mobilised Baldock Fire Station and Royston Fire Station to a Baler on fire in Ashwell. Crews also found 1 hectare of field well alight. Hose reels were used to extinguish.

Busy start to the day. Industrial unit fire in Newnham dealt with expertly by Baldock Fire Station Hitchin Fire Station. Followed up with lightning strikes to buildings in Royston. 16:06 Baldock Fire Station mobilised to a 20 litre petrol spillage at a Baldock fuel station. The crew made the scene safe with environmental packs and buckets.🚒🚒
