Next time you think no one will use your software project, just remember: someone is working on a navigation system for a car's built-in head unit.

A fully open-source alternative to the Analogue Pocket is coming to a Crowd Supply campaign. Game Bub targets GB, GBC, and GBA games. It's an FPGA-based emulation platform. And it looks pretty slick. crowdsupply.com/second-bedroom…

TDK introduced a 1uF, 100V capacitor (MLCC) in an EIA 0603-sized case. The press release suggests it targets 48V systems (like data centers.) At 50V, the effective capacitance isn't even 200 nF. product.tdk.com/en/search/capa… That DC bias effect is real.

Looks like Unexpected Maker has been doing some Unexpected Cooking in the lab! Hardware-controlled dual antenna switching, onboard fuel gauge, and a modular M.2 style board caught my attention.

Journey Completed! I never anticipated becoming an author. A year ago I started a web-blog on FPGA chip design ( blackmesalabs.wordpress.com/.../bml-fpga-d… ). Today I am holding a polished book result of this project thanks to Elektor publishing. Very glad I put in the effort and took this risk.
