Looking for an end of year poetry read, Bakwa Books got you. Nineteen Ways of Looking at Awono is a poetic contemplation of heterogeneity and translation, which pushes the boundaries of discourse on literary translation. africanbookscollective.com/books/nineteen…

As part of turning 30, I want to give back more. I remember sitting in a workshop where Dami Ajayi, Adebola Rayo, Temitayo Olofinlua, etc. taught on creative writing and feeling empowered, validated. I want to help others feel that way.

I am teaching this class every Friday, 7-9pm. It's all about taking short stories apart and figuring out how they tik and tok then stealing their techniques for your own writing. Admission is rolling basis. Join at any point for 10 sessions. DM open, retweets very appreciated.
