And to think, this year was supposed to be a retool year for the Carolina Hurricanes. Nothing short of an impressive season for them. Congratulations to the Florida Panthers for their third consecutive ECF appearance. 👏🏼

No decision has been made on Alex Ovechkin’s future following the 2025-26 NHL season.   An email was sent from an individual with the corporate sales department that mistakenly alluded to next year being Alex Ovechkin’s final year.

Pulling Oettinger for DeSmith with 12:51 left to go in the first period is crazyyyyy, but I get it. Truly a “light a fire under their asses” move if I ever saw one.

Lol. Sorry but what a diabolical way to address this Your organization just signed him for 8 years and this shows very little trust in the guy on the ice you want to trust the most, arguably. Makes sense

The Colorado Avalanche have just signed 22-year-old goaltender prospect Ilya Nabokov to a 2-year entry level deal, through the 2026-27 season. Nabokov spent last year in the KHL with Mettalurg Magnitogorsk. Posted a 23-17-6 record, 2.22 GAA, and a .923 SV%. #GoAvsGo

So here’s the details on Ilya Nabokov: it appears he’ll be loaned back to the KHL for next season and come to North America once his season ends. One interesting tidbit: Nabokov’s camp is working on his visa right now as the plan is for him to attend Development Camp in July.
