Hayabusa and Mammoth Sasaki finished their singles match from October 22, 2001 today at the FREEDOMS Yokohama Budokan show. Hayabusa was able to successfully hit the Asai Moonsault in the ring during the match before defeating Mammoth with the Firebird Splash.

IWA Japan on August 20, 1995 announced that they would be returning to Kawasaki Stadium for August 18, 1996. That never happened after Victor Quinones left the promotion in February 1996. It would have been interesting to see if they would have ran another Death Match tournament
