A great boost to the GCC-Central Asia Summit with meeting President Mirziyoyev. #Oman & #Uzbekistan sharing an ambition to deepen cultural ties as well as to focus on investment, transport, tourism and renewable energy.

Fruitful conversations in Tashkent this morning where, alongside my GCC counterparts, I met with FMs of Central Asian countries and Azerbaijan to unlock new spheres of potential cooperation, as well as discussing current issues and the vital task of promoting dialogue and peace.

In #Tashkent with Bakhtiyor Saidov focused on our common agenda for expanding bilateral cooperation, particularly in trade, logistics, energy and culture. We shared views on current regional/int. concerns stressing the need for dialogue and deescalation.

أجريت محادثات مع معالي الدكتور H.Amirabdollahian امیرعبداللهیان لمتابعة التعاون الثنائي والقضايا الإقليمية والدولية، مؤكدين على أهمية الحوار وتعزيز الحلول السلمية للحيلولة دون انتشار الصراعات. استمرار الجهود والضغوط الدبلوماسية والسياسية والقانونية كفيلة بوقف العدوان وإعلاء صوت العدالة والحق.

The Security Council resolution for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza is a vital first step in addition to unhindered flow of humanitarian aid. Recognition for Palestine is vital now.

Grateful to meet with Croatian PM Andrej Plenković, and stress growing bilateral relations and mutual opportunities as well as exchange views on regional issues and ways to cooperate internationally.

Discussion with Croatia FM Gordan Grlić Radman in Zagreb on expanding bilateral relations, and sharing thinking on critical regional tensions and the urgent need for peaceful resolution.

In Madrid today meeting my counterpart Spanish FM José Manuel Albares - moving forward with expanding our excellent bilateral relations and stressing the urgency of ceasefire in Gaza and halting the humanitarian catastrophe there.

Happy to speak with Becky Anderson because we focused on solutions. The US brokered peace in the 90s and I believe they can do it again.
