Often in Asian cultures that promote collectivism, creating boundaries can be a difficult concept leading to emotional fatigue, but setting conscient boundaries helps in appreciating individual differences, reducing misunderstandings, bringing peace and respect in relations.

Consent and boundaries are invisible pillars supporting a relationship. Early child education, building safe spaces for discussions, respecting privacy, responsible rehabilitation, and/or therapy for those in need are a few ways of encouraging practicing consent & boundaries.

No individual is perfect and no relationship ideal! We all evolve in coherence. Being supported and reinforced helps in coping with undesirable behaviors & bettering oneself. It benefits by creating an emotionally intimate space to share, trust & work on issues. #ConsentSeRishta
