Only school buses will be delayed this morning. School start time will not be effected and will resume as usual.

Students who live between US 1 South and Highway 32 West can still expect delays. All routes are now running.

Congratulations to Shalynn Barnes!!! She placed in the top 8 discus throw today at the Class AA Track Sectionals in Fitzgerald. Her discus throw of 89’1 qualified her for the Class AA State Track Meet in Rome, GA next week! Shaylnn will represent Bacon County well!!

Reminder: Graduation will begin this evening at 7:30pm at Red Raider Stadium.

The Bacon County School District will operate as normal on Tuesday, September 3rd. We will continue to monitor Hurricane Dorian and make decisions daily based on movement of the storm. Any movement to the west by Dorian will impact future decisions.

Hurricane Dorian is not expected to produce weather conditions that would require school closures for the Bacon County School District. The BCSD will be open and will operate within our normal hours tomorrow September 5th.

BC Athletic's will host a Winter Athletic Media November 12 @ 7pm in the BCHS cafeteria. Come out and support the student athletes and the coaches in Bacon County.
