Little dudes would be out paddling everyday if they could. I’m very pleased they took a liking to canoeing, looking forward to some camping adventures soon.

Canoe tech hasn’t changed all that much over the years.

My back yard is covered in wild strawberries. Quite small but packed with flavour.

It’s chilly this morning, the suns warmth is quite nice.

One of the things I enjoy most about early bow season is how active the forest is with birds. I could do without the mosquitoes though.

Took the family to deer camp. Had lunch, scouted some more, hung some stands/ cameras and prepped the camp for our arrival later this month.

Only thing that wasn’t ground up was the tender loins, back straps and one hind leg. Time to weigh this out, package and freeze.

As I age, my preference for suspenders over belts increases.
