Thanks, Roberta Lizio and Mina De Bartolo, for showing our contribution to dementia prevention based on home telemonitoring older people's lifestyles through our Sapienza Università di Roma SmartMe&You platform during Maker Faire. See more at dff.web.uniroma1.it/it/project-sma…

EEG biomarkers can measure your "brain age" and correlates of "mental fog" in older people as a reference for prevention and treatment. Know how at the Neurophysiology PIA webinar on November 11, 2024. Please register at alz-org.zoom.us/webinar/regist…. Bahar Güntekin Görsev Yener Agustin Ibañez

Claudio Babiloni EEG's journey from Hans Berger's pioneering work to its current clinical applications is truly fascinating. How do you see the role of EEG evolving with advances in computational neuroscience and machine learning? Also, what are the biggest hurdles in standardizing EEG data for

Congratulations to Prof. Claudio Babiloni Claudio Babiloni who won INTERNATIONAL PHARMACO-EEG SOCIETY (IPEG) 2024 award. The award recognizes his lifetime achievements in the field of EEG research.

Thanks to IPEG for apparently awarding me during IPEG2024 (Izmir, 21-24/11), the main hub on EEG and mental disorders. In reality, they awarded a research network (Görsev Yener Bahar Güntekin Agustin Ibañez) promoting EEG biomarkers of vigilance dysfunctions in Alzheimer's.

Compliments to Bahar Guntekin Bahar Güntekin for showing enhanced resting EEG alpha and gamma power in Alzheimer's disease patients after daily audiovisual stimulation at gamma frequencies. If clinical impact is demonstrated, it may be a cost-effective therapy for millions of them.

Thanks again to Görsev Yener and the other Organizers of Izmir University of Economics for a so great context to discuss how advanced EEG techniques and AI unveil the effects of psychoactive drugs and neuromodulatory stimulations brain synchronization mechanisms in humans

Leggi e sottoscrivi oggi la mozione della Senatrice Elena Cattaneo per bandi annuali PRIN per la ricerca valutati in modo trasparente da una agenzia indipendente. Sarà votata al Senato domani 18 febbraio scienzainrete.it/articolo/appel…. Sapienza Università di Roma FM Sapienza

Thanks to IFCN and its Clinical Neurophysiology journals and many co-authors. In his first paper (1929), Berger was the first to introduce the "resting-state condition" in Neurosciences and linked EEG alpha to vigilance of "mind wandering" for clinical brain research. Agustin Ibañez Bahar Güntekin Pedro A. valdes-Sosa

A special thanks to co-authors of BrainLat UAI for their work for validating EEG biomarkers in aging and dementia starting from Berger's discovery and dream. These biomarkers may unveil the socio-economic and gender determinants of dementia to inspire new public health policies

Thanks to Görsev Yener Bahar Güntekin and other leaders of Neurophysiology PIA to invite Prof. Fermando Maestu, one of the most important researchers in the field of Clinical Neurophysiology of cortical networks in Alzheimer's disease. Registration for free at training.alz.org/products/4849/….

On 19 March 2025, at the ‘V. Erspamer’ Dept. of UNIROMA1 dff.web.uniroma1.it, Claudio Babiloni inaugurated the Open SIESTA Lab (TMS/EEG) of ‘Rome Technopole’ for prevention and monitoring of sleep-wake cycle alterations and dementia. The “moment” is on youtu.be/ujGejWE2WOo
