Are we going to win the climate battle in cities? Two starting projects focusing on climate challenges in cities: RI-Urbans and ICOS Cities (PAUL), were showcased in the first session of #InnovAtmo22. ACTRIS ICOS RI. Looking forward to the results from these projects!

Fred Brechtel outlined nicely the complexity of measuring aerosols, esp. on board UASs with various shapes, payloads & speeds @#InnovAtmo22 @emmecare. Their miniature solutions and isokinetic inlets look impressive. But, my eye was on the mini DMA. I want one for my living room🤭

What a start of #EAC2023! An amazing talk by Jose Jimenez covering many aspects of airborne disease transmission including why the concept of airborne transmission was so much resisted based on a historic overview and how a simple concept like dilution is not even considered!

I did not expect seeing the DMS oxidation cycle in a session about CPCs @ #EAC2023. I'm wondering what kind of processes will take place inside the CPC knowing that DMSO is much more reactive towards OH than DMS
