Check out our Gavin Hudson Dr. Amy Vincent (She/Her) [email protected] new publication on mitochondrial quality control in the neurons of individuals with Parkinson's Springer Nature. This work is funded by michaeljfox.org and supported by Newcastle FCCF Mito Research Newcastle University. nature.com/articles/s4153…
Can’t wait to start #WalkforParkinsons Parkinson's UK Ben Whittle Amelia Lu Gavin Hudson
New research from Ben Whittle Gavin Hudson & Newcastle University colleagues identifies a replicable increase in TMEM252 & LMNB1 gene expression (& circRNA ESYT2, BMS1P1 & CCDC9) in early-stage idiopathic #Parkinsons (PPMI & ICICLE data sets) nature.com/articles/s4153…
Check out out latest work looking at circRNAs in PD: nature.com/articles/s4153… -> Ben Whittle's first manuscript! Huge thanks to Alison Yarnall rachellawson @4130chromo.bsky.social Osagie Izuogu Angela and everyone at michaeljfox.org, Michael J. Fox and Parkinson's UK
On the #WorldParkinsonsDay2024, I want to thank our patients, families and charity funders Parkinson's UK michaeljfox.org. And to reshare our latest npj Journals paper, revealing new links between mitochondria and neuronal loss. go.nature.com/3OZUEVn
On my first #WorldParkinsonsDay2024 since joining Mito Research I'd like to thank all those involved Parkinson's UK michaeljfox.org and look forward to some exciting new research involving mitochondria, astrocytes and Parkinson's disease
Thrilled that this paper is finally published! Please check this out if you are interested in how we used nanobiopsy to facilitate subcellular mitochondrial genomics. Many thanks to Gavin Hudson Paolo Actis Dr. Amy Vincent (She/Her) [email protected] Angela
Excited to share a preprint from my PhD work at Taylor Lab. In this work, we characterised the pathological role of human COA5 in the early stage of mitochondrial complex IV assembly through complexome profiling. medrxiv.org/content/10.110… A huge thank you to all collaborators!
One of the best things I did this year was the Research Committee Internship Cure Parkinson's. I learned so much and was inspired by the world-leading Parkinson's researchers. The vacancy for next year is now open if you're interested! Newcastle University cureparkinsons.org.uk/2024/11/insigh…
