Yesterday I deadlifted 50kg (20kg increase in last week) & did 55kg (25kg increase in last week) on lat pull down. I’ve also signed up for my first ever park run… If you had asked me 15 months ago if I’d be doing any of this, I’d laugh. Now I’m proud as hell 🥰

First park run completed! Survived the 300m on the pebbled beach and even surprised myself with my timing! Expected to do it in 40 mins, did it in 31:52 🤩🏃‍♀️ Now to work on getting 5k in under 30 👀

February 2024 I couldn’t even run a km let alone a mile…October 2024 I ran my first ever race, a half marathon, in 2 hours and 6 mins. Am I mad? Yes. Has it sunk in? No. But I did it! 🎉🏃🏻‍♀️

Received the government warning system for Storm Darragh whilst at the gym this evening…never seen the gym staff look so confused as 20+ phones all had sirens go off at once 🫣💨☔️

There are worse places to get heartbroken 😂 but the cheeky new barbell hip thrust PB of 150kg for 22reps is an unexpected bonus 💪🏼 🏋️‍♂️
