No technical aspect of Bitcoin has been “co-opted” The network remains cypherpunk and the tools get more so by the day DESPITE or even, I would argue, BECAUSE of mainstream adoption Major challenges around education, mining decentralization, privacy remain, but “co-opted”? No

This guy gets it. We’ve been saying same thing. Since BlackRock filing Bitcoin is up like 250% with much less volatility and no vomit-inducing drawdowns. This has helped it attract even bigger fish and gives it fighting chance to be adopted as currency. Downside is prob no more

There is a perception that PIPE investors “use retail for exit liquidity.” In general, PIPE investors took on risk by financing at fair value (not discount) with a lockup; it’s the public over-valuation from retail speculators that pressure the PIPE investors to realize profits.

You still have the freedom to generate private keys, derive public addresses, contribute hashrate, operate a mining pool, and verify with a full bitcoin node. Early adopters got psyoped into selling. Be grateful, they gave buyers a better entry point!

The financial system needs more PIPE investors to capitalize more bitcoin treasury companies, so that they can leverage debt at scale. Integrating BTC is the best way to strengthen capital markets and mitigate the next fiat crisis. Fix the money, fix the world.

It’s hard to worry about bitcoin treasury companies getting over-extended with leverage when that’s years away. A lot of the new ones haven’t even started accumulating, and/or are a year away from ATM accretive dilution of equity. I imagine leverage at-scale will be 2027.

Anxiety-ridden hyperventilators: "This is just like 1929! This is just like 2008!" They need a new quant and a sun walk. We are so early.

After more than a decade of degen 100x leverage auto-liquidated offshore retail margin trading, the crypto influencers are convinced that bitcoin treasury companies are a systemic risk. I think the opposite is true, equities and derivatives will be shock absorbers.

They didn’t earn it. They created it. And they sold you the illusion it was the future of money. Unlike Bitcoin—which anyone can mine and no one controls—XRP was pre-mined, hoarded by insiders, and drip-fed to the public. Pierre Rochard exposes the marketing machine behind

The financialization of bitcoin won’t make it too expensive to buy, it’s very divisible as 1 BTC equals 100,000,000 sats.
