The Board of Trustees honored the El Dorado High School marching band for making their first appearance at the 2024 5A UIL State Marching Band Contest. The band had an outstanding season, earning top honors at the T-Bird and EPISD Marching Invitationals. Congratulations, Aztecs!

Our Aztec Percussion soloists have made a statement at the UIL Solo & Ensemble contest, with seven division one ratings, four State qualifiers, and many more within the band, we are shining bright as competition season begins once again! Venessa Betancourt

All three El Dorado Jazz Bands earned division ONE ratings! This is the first time in school history we’ve received such a high honor. Our Jazz 1 Trombone section, and soloist received a caption award. Kudos to Cesar Hinojos and Ms. Aguilar who performed with the SISD Big Band!

The El Dorado Jazz Bands competed at the Hanks Jazz Festival with Jazz One placing top 5 in varsity with an Outstanding Trombone Soloists. Jazz Two was 1st, and Jazz Three placed 3rd in the non varsity division! This is the best team Cesar Hinojos and Ms. Aguilar! Venessa Betancourt
