Aynor girls volleyball defeated Waccamaw tonight in straight sets. That means the Blue Jackets are region co-champs, the No. 1 seed out of the region and the overall No. 1 seed in the Lower State bracket. A tremendous season for the Blue Jackets continues.

Aynor’s Ella Kate Barnett (71, 76) is the Class 3A girls golf individual state champion. She won the tournament by 6 strokes. Last year, Barnett was the runner-up. This year, she’s the champion.
