Today in Nairobi, I engaged in a high-level dialogue with World Meteorological Organization Secretary-General Prof. Celeste Saulo, alongside Somalia’s WMO Representative Dr. GULEID ARTAN. We discussed strengthening cooperation, enhancing climate services, and advancing the establishment of the #SNMA.

Pleased to meet H.E. Vice Minister Gao Li of China’s Ministry of Ecology & Environment during #INC5 in Geneva. We explored ways to deepen China–Somalia green development ties, enhance capacity, and combat plastic pollution for a sustainable future.
