Excessive heat can be extremely dangerous for folks living outside. Help us raise money for cooling and hydrating supplies so we can keep our neighbors safe!

Well he’s right - criminalizing drug possession & public use IS a war on health. It will lead to more overdoses, increased police encounters & incarceration & will be disproportionately enforced against poor and unhoused folks. These policies are DEADLY. #StoptheHarrellHorrorShow

Anti-sweep advocates demand the City Council pass a ban on sweeps during extreme weather and winter months, which the City defined as Dec 1 to March 1 in the winter eviction moratorium.

Hey folks, still need to cover some of the expenses from last night’s service and to get orders going for next week’s underwear and tshirts and hand sanitizer. Thanks to everyone who keeps supporting these meals! Venmo: Broadway-aid

Glo’s was supposed to start serving community meals again on June 1st with my role being to to supervise direct service. I was fired in May. No meals have been served out of the new space for these past four months. Owners have not mentioned the community meals program to staff.

City couldn't respond to my email about their plans to destroy the BLM garden because they are off for Indigenous Peoples Day

One of the most common arguments we hear to justify sweeps is the claim that people refuse services and choose to live outside, so we simply have to sweep them into shelters. This is incredibly misguided and demonstrates a lack of information, so let’s dig into it 👇 1/10
