Trying to brush up on my sketching as I wait. Art really is therapeutic. Just an old HB pencil and notebook - you can see it getting blunter as I go!

So I deleted my post yesterday about family health issues, but most of you read it. So you know it’s tricky right now and you know how much my art is helping me. Been dipping in and out of this along the week. Keeping me positive!

This afternoon, while he slept!

A happy Easter ChiffChaff. I haven’t painted one for a while, but I hear them constantly in trees outside my dining room / painting room.

For the avoidance of doubt, I definitely painting for the process, not the end result. The art therapy continues.

Time is limited. Sketches are rough, but I kind of like that! You know I find Owls tricky but I’m definitely improving!
