Press Briefing convened at NCHRDs-UG on the Rationalization of National Bureau for NGOs and Appealed  to Yoweri K Museveni to consider not assenting to the NGO( Amendment ) Act , 2024 but rather strengthen the current National Bureau for NGOs with adequate funds.

Earlier today, we joined other CSOs leaders in addressing the media, appealing to The President of the Republic of Uganda, General Yoweri Kaguta Museveni Tibuhaburwa to reconsider assenting to the Non-Governmental Organisations (Amendment) Act, 2024.
