The Sindh-Balochistan border region may be one of the most multilingual places in the subcontinent. I don’t mean the raw number of languages spoken there, that’s just 3 or 4. The Himalayas have far more in more compact spaces. But literally everybody speaks those 3 or 4.

Vowel nasalization is typically not something I associate with Iranic languages, but then you listen to Balochi — well, the eastern varieties anyway — and basically all /-Vn/ sequences are realized as [-Ṽ]. Especially so in Sulaymani, but also in eastern Makurani.
