where are the weather effects in vibrant visuals #Minecraft

Anyone know why my Minecraft looks like this? The vibrant visuals are nice but the sky is very weird with all these rough transitions to the next gradient :/

I hope that with time we get more features reminiscent of the super duper graphics pack. Would be great to be able to recreate some of its features, particularly that double cloud layer I do like that a lot.
