This joint initiative will bring about the establishment of a shared laboratory in #PediatricCancer Epigenetics, headed by researcher Dr. Alexandra Avgustinova. Affiliated to both Institut de Recerca Sant Joan de Déu and #IRBBarcelona, Dr. Alexandra Avgustinova will lead this laboratory on the #IRBBarcelona premises.

The AvgustinovaLab will address developmental tumours to identify specific epigenetic vulnerabilities in #ChildhoodCancer and exploit them in the pursuit of personalised therapies to improve the well-being and prognosis of patients.
