Sad, sad news that Bill Anders has died in a plane crash. One of the first three humans to escape Earth & travel to the Moon & took one of the most famous & important photographs in history, Earthrise. Never shared this 16mm image of him before, feels appropriate today. Ad Astra.

I’m in Toronto… we decided to go for a walk to Billy Bishop Airport. I’m not sure I know of another big city that has a GA facility this close to the downtown area?

I’ve been a bit quiet on here lately. Work has been rather busy what with the new job and flying occasionally. I’ve managed a trip in either seat and some Eagle flying too. The aerobatics are a real soul-cleanser; I’m very fond of this little bird!

Finally I managed some flying after some bad weather luck. I love flying this machine but every trip is mentally quite challenging for me at the moment. I love the constant learning… but there’s no hiding from your own inadequacies in one of these!
