Thick smoke is billowing through Monte Vista right now in San Antonio. As of 9:30 on Tuesday night, SAFD is trying to put out a residential fire. We’re waiting on more word from officials, but heard multiple structures are involved. I’ll update as we learn more.

Update: One home is expected to be a total loss and another has attic damage. No injuries reported as of Tuesday at 10:30. Crews will be here working on hotspots for the next few hours.

Hundreds are protesting in downtown SATX tonight. They’re calling for a stop to the immigration tactics by ICE. It’s been peaceful.

Major car crash on I-35 South near Cassin. Per the San Antonio Fire Department, we know two people were found dead on arrival, 8 were transported with life-threatening injuries and 13 people had minor injuries. A small shuttle bus was involved.
