I kid you not ... this was called a 3-point field goal with about 30 seconds left in tonight’s contest. Eventually, Paint Valley lost 57-52 in 2OT. But if this is called like it’s supposed to be, it’s a 1-point win for the Bearcats tonight in regulation.

This week’s SVC Athlete of the Week, presented by Neil Coleman Insurance Services, is Paint Valley Volleyball’s Averi. McFadden currently has 120 kills, 19 aces and a team-high 226 digs this year. She’s helped the Bearcats win five straight matches.

Meanwhile, off the court, we want to wish our PG Averi good luck in the Fall Festival of Leaves Queen’s pageant this Thursday! We hope everyone can come out to support her at the Paxton theater! #PVproud
