Attempting a 48-72 hour fast. Been reading a lot and sounds like it does a lot of good things for the body. Pretty much a reboot and cleanse. On hour 13 now. Yes, I'm hungry. Goal is 48 hours but will attempt 72 if I can take it. Black coffee and water only.

21 hours down without eating and it's not too bad. Yes, I'm hungry but not any bad hunger pains. Bad part is just the habit of grabbing a snack here and there. Trying to stay busy to keep my mind off of it.

38 hours down, 34 to go on the fast. Feel good today. Hungry, but coffee helps. Slept good last night but took a benedryl to help. Today is the day when people say you start to notice your body feeling different. Brushing teeth is a highlight as you actually get some flavors.

Not going to make the full 72. I'll at least hit the 48 hour mark of fasting.
