I always state my job before I give a talk. Here’s why. A lovely surgeon just complimented me on 2 technical talks I gave at EACTS this morning on surgical mitral repair saying, “You talk like a surgeon. Are you a surgeon?” 🤣 (For anyone wondering, I’m a surgeon)

Notion does not compare TAVI vs. SAVR. It compares on of the best available TAVI valves with a combined cohort of SAVR valves (>30% Trifecta/MitroFlo, out of the market, poor quality valves) and definition of SVD based on a fixed gradient (>40% SAVR valves size <21mm).
