Thread talking about my next project Aerial Vanguard Hummingbird, created by me and Erikuh! Thread will contain basic info + early (mid 2024 and older) test/dev images/art. No gameplay will be shown today as we are in early days as of now. Imgs will also have alt text.

At LVL Up Expo 2024, I had shared some early animation test footage of Aerial Vanguard Hummingbird. As much of the team was still on other projects, only a couple hands really worked on this. I animated every shot in the video. Maybe some day I will share the full thing.

I really want to thank everyone for the kind reception. I had no idea what kind of audience this would actually bring, so it means a lot. We're still looking for more people to help us bring this to life. If you have the experience and want to help, what we need is below:

- UE5 gameplay programming / blueprints - Shader / material and tech art work - Effects & particles Even if you don't see something here, feel free to shoot me a DM anyway! Always happy to talk to people. We're pretty much full on artists currently so this is what we need most.

even though its very early in being put together, the movement in hummingbird rn is stupid addictive to play with. team is doing crazy good work and i can't wait for y'all to see it when its farther along.

I wanted to wait until I got a sample of my writing across the table before I said anything... However, I can now reveal that I've taken on a lead writing position for Aerial Vanguard Hummingbird! I'm super stoked to work with everybody on this game <3

One of my longer-term projects, I'm working on recapturing the audio production of early 80s-90s mecha anime, w/ semi modular synthesis in the audio design. Already posted snippets but here's a new clip: Recorded about ~1hr worth, will release a free sfx library from it shortly!
