It just gets better and better

Found out today I have to do induction all over again. I’m about to just not want to be a teacher anymore.

I just want to hear him say, “still maneuvering” or “world treating you alright today?” or “are ya there?” again. I can’t believe he’s really gone.

Alright. It’s time. Where do y’all go to buy funeral clothes? Esp. non-binary/gender non-comforming folks.

My grandpa died. Right during the eclipse. He was 100.

So apparently they intentionally cut power in order to avoid wildfires but now the wind is gone and they still haven’t restored power for 75,000 people… Cool.

My friend and I have been planning a trip to Austin for the eclipse for months and now we can’t go.

My mom: I’m being supportive.

Me: Great! I appreciate that! Here’s what would feel supportive right now…

Her: So you don’t think I’m supportive?!?

Told people at work that my contract wasn’t renewed, hoping that they’d spread the word and I wouldn’t have to tell everyone, but the people I told are so great that they haven’t told ANYONE, which is so nice, but go tell people. Go tell everyone so I don’t have to.

Took a sick day yesterday and so much shit was talked about me behind my back that my para brought me in a bracelet to cleanse the negative energy today.

Them: You need to be more proactive, Cass.

Me: *tries to be more proactive*

Them: It’s too early to worry about that.

They really think I’m completely incompetent.
