The Australian Reptile Park has introduced its latest guest, 'Poppy'. She was rescued a few weeks ago after her mother was hit and killed by a car. Poppy is being hand-raised and will stay at the park until she's old enough and strong enough to be released back into the wild. #7NEWS

Handlers at the Australian Reptile Park worked to rescue a nest of 18 alligator eggs in jeopardy due to weather conditions and the presence of adult male alligators. The handlers had to pin the mother alligator to the ground while the eggs were relocated by a coworker.
