After today’s 3-1 win vs. Phillips Exeter, Dr. Hickey presented Head Coach Jonathan Pollard ’97 with a new “Belt” for the program, this one celebrating Coach’s 100th career win, as well as a custom 100th win bat. Alex Fernandes ’25 received a bat noting his 100th win, as well.

Last week Austin Prep eighth graders celebrated the conclusion of their Austin Prep Middle School Journey with the Class of 2029 Final Assembly. Dr. Hickey and Mr. McLaughlin offered remarks, and members of the Class of 2029 offered reflections on their Middle School experience.

Thank you to all those who helped make the 37th Annual Austin Open Golf Tournament a tremendous success! The event is vital in our efforts to continue to provide exceptional educational experiences for all our students. We hope to see everyone again next year!

The Freshman Class of 2028 simulated debates on contemporary global issues during Austin Prep’s fourth annual Model UN conference. Led by the History Faculty, this event was planned to engage students in several weeks of extensive research and analysis of global issues. #ModelUN

Austin Prep recently held the 25-26 Schoolwide Student Government election. Class level elections were also held. All students were eligible to vote in the Schoolwide Election. Next year's Schoolwide Student Government Officers are noted here. We look forward to their leadership!

On this #MemorialDay, take a moment to remember and honor all the brave men and women who have given the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Photos taken during the Class of 2029's trip to Washington D.C. which included a stop to lay a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

In the fall, I visited Omaha Beach where the American forces came ashore on June 6, 1944. Later that day, I visited the American Cemetery in Normandy to pay my respects to all those who made the ultimate sacrifice. On this #MemorialDay and always, God bless our fallen heroes.

Austin Prep came together today for the final all-school Mass of the 2024-2025 academic year. The Ascension Thursday Mass was celebrated by Fr. Ray Dlugos, O.S.A., Austin Prep Trustee and Vice President for Mission and Ministry at Merrimack College.

Austin Prep is taking meaningful steps to expand a music program that reflects the richness of our Catholic faith and Augustinian values. Recently, we have been incorporating Gregorian chant in our liturgies. Listen to the choir sing #AgnusDei at Ascension Thursday Mass.

Austin Prep welcomed WBZ-TV Boston to campus for a story on Bradley McCafferty ‘26 being named the 2024-25 Gatorade Massachusetts Baseball Player of the Year. The piece will air June 13 at 6 pm. Also at Little Field this morning for a workout was Evan Blanco ’22 and Jack Iannibelli ’22.
