My youngest (9) is type 1 diabetic. He can't just eat fruit or veg, esp fruit. So he brings this stuff home and if it was sweaty and rancid at 12pm imagine it coming out of a schoolbag at 4 pm 😳🤮🤢

AudreyD Thanks🙋🏻‍♀️
First time for everything🌈
The world develops gradually, slowly, young people bring to the table, the energy and belief that would allow change to happen.
All they need is a grownup to stick with them, their story and their suffering, even after school days are over.

AudreyD Sinéad McGarry emma o kelly Usually the pupils move on, the parents are stonewalled. Not just by principals but by the staff also. Makes it an impossible environment for an already vulnerable student. They close ranks. That’s what makes this situation, albeit a late intervention by colleagues,so unusual.
