With Nadine Chang we introduce a new task, Labeling Instruction Generation, to address missing publicly available labeling instructions from large-scale, visual datasets. Timely for new article from Josh Dzieza in The Verge and New York Magazine arXiv preprint: arxiv.org/abs/2306.14035

Just came back from a meeting filled with talks about ongoing research on ways to understand, diagnose and treat misophonia! #MRFannualmeeting. I presented my lab's research funded by misophoniaresearchfund.org and got to hear about all the fascinating progress being made.

Great job today by graduate student Urszula Oszczapinska! She presented our research on misophonia, funded by Misophonia Research Fund: Altering the Perceived Cause of Unpleasant and Misophonic Sounds with Videos and Words at #AROMWM2024. aro.societyconference.com/v2/

Did you know that louder sounds 📢are easier to recognize, but more unpleasant? So, is it valid to "equalize" sound levels in the lab to test sound recognition and pleasantness? See our new paper in JASA Express Letters, funded by Misophonia Research Fund, to find out. pubs.aip.org/asa/jel/articl…
