Anyone can examine trademark filings on the UK IPO website. From what I’ve seen, it’s pretty obvious that MMC (below) has rights to design, manufacture and sell Marcos-branded vehicles (and with the historic mark). It’s also clear that Howard and the team will be best custodians.

For the avoidance of doubt, calling for the death of a certain group of people - whatever you think of them - isn’t a “political opinion”. What Hamas is doing to Israelis is abhorrent. What the Israeli state is doing to Palestinians is abhorrent.

Jaguar stopped selling cars because it is retooling its factories and getting ready for future production. It announced this before the ad even came to light. Of course, an educated ‘intellectual’ like Toby Young knows this, but he loves to stir the pot for ignorant followers.

I may have discovered a Brexit benefit due to work VPN. Here, if you Google a place/route, you get a Google Maps preview at the top of the results. In the EU, the DMA means you basically don’t get Google Maps via Google. Totally stupid. I’m *using* Google. I want Google Maps! 🙄

Six months into the year and, with a very modest solar array on the roof, I have already generated more electricity than the average UK household uses in an entire year. And a home battery means that if it’s generated when I don’t need it, I can store it and use it later. Simples

I get why these are this kind of money, but I think a lot of the worry is overblown. Also, if I drive past you in this, I’m going to assume you’re worth nine figures, minimum. Absolutely sensational style for about the price of the UK’s average new car.

Got phoned by multiple journalists at the time about this and gave them the same, unprintable one-word analysis about the likelihood of this being legitimate. rhyljournal.co.uk/news/25293849.…

Visiting the mothership in Stuttgart for a few days. First time I’ve flown in more than five years. The retractable handle on my suitcase chose the perfect time to break. 😂

Not going to link to the footage, but if the shootout in Philly had happened in the UK (and of course, it couldn’t have done), the American right would have been having a field day about how totally beyond salvation the UK now was…

Fun fact if you’re ever visiting Stuttgart. Robert Bosch’s old office more than 100 years ago was behind this set of windows on the first floor. Bosch moved to a new HQ in the city many years ago, but the restaurant below where the founder used to work was since named after him.

Quick pilgrimage to where it all began this evening: Rotebühlstraße 75 B. In 1886, in the courtyard, Robert Bosch opened his ‘Workshop for Precision Mechanics and Electrical Engineering’. And a few roads away in the Bosch Archive in Stuttgart, his first workbench is on display.

First time flying in five years and not only was my outbound British Airways delayed by an hour, but the BA return has now been delayed by at least an hour as well. Is this just normal now? Thankfully booked on Eurowings the next time I fly, so hoping for a better experience.

Sat in the Smart #5 today. Obviously a big car. Rear space is enormous. Reckon I’d personally prefer an even bigger boot and perhaps less generosity with the legroom in the back! Rather pleasing interior.
