The railway enthusiast in me planned the last NORTHERN 🚆 leg of today’s £10 day ranger to be the last northbound of the three a day trains from Sheffield to York via Pontefract Baghill - 150 269 being the until in question, 1540 departure.

Today was the 4th and last of my £10 NORTHERN 🚆 Day Ranger trips - first port of call was Skipton in North Yorkshire. Stagecoach (Ribble), Transdev (Keighley), Kirby Lonsdale Coach Hire and North Yorkshire Council all operate bus services into the bus station,

After Skipton it was back on a NORTHERN 🚆 class 333 to Keighley for 90 minutes - a variety of Transdev liveries plus Jackson’s of Silsden.

After the Omnibus Society management meeting today we had a trip by tram to West Bromwich. Hadn’t really researched what we might find there, so Diamond battery electric converted MAN/Plaxton Centro 30922/B20 WTS was a surprise.

Today I played Inspector Blakey in charge of the heritage bus service at the North East Bus Preservation Trust annual Seaburn rally.
