When cute little bunnies greet you in the driveway, you know it’ll be a great day! About to get my learning on at Little River Canyon Center - math in the canyon! What a great opportunity with JSU Regional Inservice Center and my buddy Amber Trantham !! #MathintheCanyon #AlwaysLearning

On the final day of each of our elementary summer math retreats the participants receive a bag of items to use to enhance their math instruction back in the classroom. It's one of the highlights of the retreat!

Even more pics from #mathinthecanyon with JSU Regional Inservice Center and Amber Trantham 2 - this game was so much fun! Using place value blocks to model the addition of tenths and hundredths - first one to 100/100 is the winner!

Here’s a challenge to all of my fellow educators...when you call your legislator, regarding our current standards In ELA and Math, ask them if they have read them in their entirety and if not how could they vote to repeal or approve them then post their response by name!
