when I first started writing, I used to think it was primarily a way to communicate with other living humans but the older I get the more I realize how much of it, for me, is a way to talk to the dead

Zionism just doesn’t kill, it takes the very best of humanity: those who have the will to resist it, the brave, the selfless, and the universally beloved. If you disrupt zionist institutions or lash out at a zionist apologist, feel no shame, because that is act of love.

finally caught the monumental The Spook Who Sat By The Door last night. such a powerful film that is doubly important to recirculate considering it's initial suppression. a mainstream working manual for urban guerilla warfare, that doesn't end in moralizing defeat? truly amazing.

wild to know extents that efforts by studios/government to erase this movie from existence went. all prints were "mysteriously" disappeared from theaters & if the director hadn't hidden the negative in a vault under a different name, it likely wouldn't have survived.

important to consider the power & influence of revolutionary tactics dispersed in mainstream films. I remember hearing in an interview w/ a Red Brigades militant, 1 of their tactics for having secret rendezvous on city buses was gleaned by watching Costa-Gavras' State of Siege.

hearing news of Aysenur's martyrdom today as I get a message from another comrade telling me they're headed to the West Bank w/ ISM. thinking also of Tristan among these brave souls & of so many Palestinians who do the same work alongside them but rarely get remembered as names.
