Check out this wonderful initiative of Sanctuary Australia, an organisation for which I am a proud patron. Their work for refugees is compassionate AND pragmatic. These people get things done so make a donation, however small, to support their work if you can. x.com/humanrightsuns…

Did you know, during Spring Carnival, Aussies bet a HUGE $800 mill! If just 1% of this was given to organisations like ours, we could improve the lives of so many more animals. To give instead of gamble go to: bit.ly/2yP2zNG <3 @GilloArvos Tweet Perth #nuptothecup

Doctors across Australia have been incredibly clear. If people are not transferred to Australia for urgent medical treatment we will lose another life. Our political leaders need to stay strong and come February 12 #BacktheBill. #auspol #doctorsorders

On Thursday, August 29 I’ll be at the #9myroomtelethon Telstra Celebrity Phone Bank for My Room. Please give me a call and donate as generously as you can to support this amazing charity in its fight against childhood cancer. I’m on board to help achieve a 100% cure rate.

*** URGENTLY NEEDED FOOD & GROCERIES *** We are struggling at ASRC to keep up with demand for our most-needed food items. We rely so heavily on your generosity at this time of year, when most of the school food drives have finished but the demand for food never slows down.

Theatres have gone dark globally due to Covid-19 this World Theatre Day. From one of the oldest theatres in the world we shout out to all the artists in solidarity and we know from history that their stories will endure #WorldTheatreDay world-theatre-day.org
