Last year I had a stressful serious of exchanges with EPC, the company that collect the toll charges on the M50. I'd paid and although I'd a copy of my receipt, they bullied me with threats of fines. It finally was resolved. Today they have contacted me again demanding payment.

"Where do you live in Belfast"? "Ardoyne". "And why did you leave"? "Because of the riots and the B-specials coming into the street, beating up people". "What happened at your house"? "Well am, they were shooting at our house".

Is it beyond the bounds of possibility that this despot Trump is a Russian asset? Maybe I'm letting imagination colour my thoughts but when was the last time a US President continuously lambasted and threatened Western countries while simultaneously showing support for Russia?

Trump's present course of erratic actions may well open the doors and give cover to maniacs who want to end the world as we know it. His deeds aren't unlike an out of control fireman's hose that lashes around and spews an unleashed force in a chaotic manner.

Is it pie in the sky to suggest that successive UK Governments are guiding their nation towards abolishing the State Pension completely? Have they a ' think tank' that advocates euthanasia for over 65s as a cost cutting exercise? Is the NHS practising age bias?

How has this country descended into a state where racism is prevalent and hatred for others is becoming normalized? I'm in despair when I think of the bitterness and hatred that people here are capable of displaying like a badge of honour.
