Thanks to RStudio (w/Rachael Dempsey ...@[email protected] and colleagues) for highlighting our #rshiny-enabled #Covid19 event associated risk assessment planning tool via this ~4 minute video (w/@urbanclio, Aroon Chande, Seolha Lee, Stephen Beckett, PhD, & Q. Nguyen). youtube.com/watch?v=BmpnfL…

The project has been a Weitz Group + friendly cities lab collaboration Georgia Tech with key software engineering development from Applied Bioinformatics Laboratory (ABiL) + Aroon Chande & ongoing CDC-enabled collaboration w/Duke University cognitive neuroscientists. covid19risk.biosci.gatech.edu

Second - the software engineering and full-stack development skills of Applied Bioinformatics Laboratory (ABiL), amongst which I am deeply grateful both to Lavanya Risishwar and especially to Aroon Chande for incredible working in turning a vision into a fully scaleable website... youtube.com/watch?v=BmpnfL…

I scored 95% on the covid19risk Risk Guessing Game. Try it out and guess the risk in your own community! covid19risk.biosci.gatech.edu/?game

It's been fun working across disciplines on this project! And also rewarding to see that we're having an impact on behavior. Visit us over at covid19risk for more #COVID19 updates

A reminder that our covid19risk collaboration has been releasing localized, real-time estimates that 1+ are infected w/#COVID19 at events since July 2020, with >16M visitors to the site. Risk estimates updated daily, as reporting allows. covid19risk.biosci.gatech.edu

Very happy to share our work (w/ Freyja, Quan Minh Nguyen, Aroon Chande, Lavanya Rishishwar, friendly cities lab, Joshua Weitz) on software to process and map localized COVID-19 case data is now published.
