Blatant disregard for rules & systems shown by Arvind Kejriwal in pursuing Sanjiv Chaturvedi matter & getting away from his duties as CM.

Sanjiv Chaturvedi’s original cadre was Haryana. He requested inter-cadre transfer to Uttarakhand on grounds of extreme hardship in Oct 13.

ACC approved inter-cadre transfer of Chaturvedi in relaxation of policy. It is one of the rarest of rare cases of inter-cadre transfer.

Now, Sanjiv Chaturvedi has made another request for inter-cadre deputation to GNCTD. This is not permissible under the rules.

The Rule requires an officer to complete the mandatory cooling off in his cadre between two stints of deputation.

Thus, Sanjiv Chaturvedi, without completing the mandatory cooling off period under the rules wants inter-cadre deputation. This is wrong.

Don’t forget that Sanjiv Chaturvedi has not served in his new cadre, the cadre he sought, for a single day. This is complete shamelessness.

No officer can claim a right to a particular post and seek inter-cadre deputation anticipating appointment on a particular post.

By using officials to settle political scores Arvind Kejriwal is shirking his primary duty which is to serve the people of Delhi.

Delhi is powerless, waterless & civic issues plaguing the city but the CM is more concerned in petty politics rather than governance.

Mr. Sanjiv Chaturvedi should ask himself - is this the sense of duty with which he seeks to serve the nation? Does India deserve this?
