It’s too soon to tell what will happen next, but my sincere hope is that this ends in freedom for the Iranian people. 🇮🇷

Iran is like Venezuela in many ways, particularly in that both regimes are extremely institutionalized. I don’t think it’s as simple as Iranians “taking control” of their government once U.S. and Israeli strikes end. Any thoughts on what the plan is (or if there even is one)?

The latest U.S.–Israeli strikes on Iran are reshaping global geopolitics—and they send a stark warning to allied regimes, especially Delcy Rodriguez’s in Venezuela. EEUU no está jugando carrito.

Iranians and Venezuelans can understand each other because they’ve shared a lot of the same feelings. What do you think? 🇮🇷 🫂 🇻🇪

The next goal for Venezuelans is to ensure María Corina is allowed to safely return to the country. - She has announced she will return in the next weeks. - Venezuelans overwhelmingly support her. - U.S. pressure on the regime is stronger than ever after the strikes on Iran.

🫓 Terrible news came out from Mérida last night: Venezuelan journalist Walter Jaimes was found dead in a road called La Variante, his face disfigured and burned. No ID in his pockets. Jaimes was missing since Saturday. His colleague Daniel Molina Tovar had to identify the body.

U.S. Interior Secretary, Doug Burgum, is en route to Caracas, it’s the second visit by a high-profile U.S. official to Venezuela in the last month. That’s crazy to think about, since Iran and Venezuela were considered “allies” before Maduro’s capture barely two months ago.

Five floors underground in Caracas is a prison called “La Tumba.” No sunlight. Non-stop fluorescent light. Freezing temperatures. Total isolation. This is “white torture.” Former political prisoner Lorent Saleh survived La Tumba, follow him to learn more about his activism.
