Congrats to Albertine Perez-Hope, Kimberly Hotti, and Kayla Cuhna for presenting their original research at the Arizona History Convention! Their posters represented their work based on archival research done at the Arizona Historical Society as part of HST495.

Graduate student Arturo Perez Lopez presented his research at the Arizona History Convention last weekend. His poster "South Phoenix NOT South Mountain Village" uses oral histories to explore the gentrification of South Phoenix and the impact on the community.

Graduate student Cole Hussey presented his research "Landscapes of Neglect: The Silencing of Indian School Memory in Arizona" at the Arizona History Convention last week.

Graduate student Trevor Malley also presented at the Arizona History Convention. His reserach, "Beneath the Surface: Investigating the Memory of Arizona's Miners and the Mining Boom Town" explored how mining heritage is often overlooked in the historical narrative.
