NASA Astro Class 23
The fly shape represents our class, “the flies”. Twelve stars represent the candidates of class 23 and the UAE and US flags are both displayed. And of course the astronaut pose represents our faith in NASA’s return to the moon while keeping an eye on Mars!

I was lucky to attend Jawaharlal Nehru University for one year. This quote always stuck with me and is applicable to space exploration as to every day. Happy Sunday!

NASA’s Chief Exploration Scientist couldn’t have said it better! The geology of the moon, the impact craters, the rocks, minerals, and meteorites contain a story. We have already learned so much from that story which takes us back 4.5 billions years.

My inspiration just got bigger with James Webb! I love this photo of the Carina Nebula. I’ve always been inspired by the stars and they remind me of how much we have to explore. I hope these photos also inspire the future explorers! #nasa #nasa webb @nasa_astronauts

Delhi with my grandmother; born in 1922. I reflected on the tremendous change she has witnessed from discovery of penicillin to a moon landing. It’s hard to fathom the transformation we will see in the next 100 years. It’s sufficient motivation to keep pushing our limits!

It’s great to see how much more robust the launch industry is and to see India stepping in!

Today was an exciting day! Ax-1 successfully launched and are paving the way as the first solely all-private crew to travel to the International Space Station. I’m so proud of the team and everyone involved in this mission. We will continue to work diligently until they return home safely.
