Imām al-Ghazālī رحمه الله on Tawḥīd

It is impossible to have a good relationship with Allāh if you don't have a good relationship with the Prophet ﷺ It is our duty to follow him ﷺ in all of his states, for he is the epitome of the perfect servant of Allāh.

Ibn Taymiyyah رحمه الله says If Allāh wants good for a servant, He inspires him to make duʿā’ and to seek His help. He makes the servant’s seeking help and his duʿā’ a cause for the good that Allah has decreed for him. As ʿUmar ibn al-Khaṭṭāb (may Allah be pleased with him)
