Our Labour Councillors Bryony Goodliffe and @alexandrabulat attended the Virtual School’s conference in Huntingdon, which focused on foetal alcohol spectrum disorder. We learnt a lot and spoke with social care and education professionals about support for children in our county.




What we did - Maz & other care leavers met lemn sissay OBE FRSL after his show 'It was INSPIRING, an eye opener for most of us who have been in the same situation with a different outcome!’ ‘I haven't met a person who is a care leaver as successful as him’ Thanks Cambridge Arts Theatre!


What we did - Fun at the Fitz! Thanks to Jennie, Nicola, Nathan & and all the team for imaginative creative sessions for Early Years, foster families and unaccompanied children FitzMuseumEducation University of Cambridge Museums #uasc #fostering @MyCambs


What we did - Our children in care LOVED the incredible Firebreak course, thanks to Odette and the team Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service for an exciting and confidence building team day. What we did - Our incredible foster families enjoyed the Junction's Christmas show together- thrills and spills, laughs and gasps! Plus ice creams...🍦 Thank you Cambridge Junction for giving many children in care their 1st taste of live theatre 🙏 #theatre #thanks @MyCambs


What we did - The wonderful Abbey People staff provided small group training - our children gained hospitality & employability skills and became confident baristas. Plus they made some really decent coffee and enjoyed the course!☕️ #careers #confidence #CEP #employability

What we did - Foster families enjoyed 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar' at Cambridge Arts Theatre 'They loved every second - the delivery was just perfect for any small child... I so wish the theatre staff could see the sheer joy on this little fostered boy’s face. It was priceless’
