Wow, what a fantastic day at Monk Park Farm! 🐷☀️ Our children had the best time — from feeding and learning about the animals, to cuddling the smaller ones, riding barrel carts, cheering on pig races, and letting off steam in the play area. 🐐🚜🐖

Year Two visited Thackray Museum in Leeds to meet Florence Nightingale and help her to heal soldiers in Scutari Hosptial.

Year 2 have been enjoying Australia day today to celebrate the end of their geography topic! We have tried some Australian treats, created some artwork and even had a go throwing a boomerang.

Aspin have really enjoyed their trips to Knaresborough Library this week! The children loved exploring the books and sharing stories together. A big thank you to Knaresborough Library for having us - we can’t wait to visit again soon!

Year 3 had a fantastic day at Richmond Castle today! They loved exploring the castle grounds and learning all about its fascinating history. A brilliant day of fun and discovery!

Y6 had a fantastic day taking part in a Viking workshop led by Historic Workshops. They learnt about the importance of battle formation, archaeology and playing a Viking game called Kubb. A great hands-on day of Viking History was enjoyed by all!

Year Two have had a super day at Mother Shipton's Cave to celebrate the end of their 'Significant people from Knaresborough' history topic. We made wishes in the well, saw Mother Shipton's statue and discovered some of the other magic in the forest.

Year 1 enjoyed a lovely walk around Knaresborough this week as part of their topic, “Where do I live in the world?” 🌍 The children spotted lots of different types of houses and buildings along the way and even posted some letters to the people they live with! 💌📮
