[🧵 1/35] I have some thoughts on the current matter of the racist concept art presented at Animangaki by Studio Orange. I hope to create some level of understanding between the Western and Asian fandoms as I've seen confusion on both sides.

Some Vashmeryl I wanted to clean up but I had an electricity black out *sob* Meryl… his eyes are up there! Don’t objectify him, Vash has a brain too! XD

This singular tweet destroyed any chances of Vashmeryl being popular in this fandom again and it was a blatant misinterpretation of the text. That wasn’t friendzoning, that was an indirect kiss.

If you’re going to bring variety into a series, you need variety in the booth. You need variety on the fucking production team. Do more research, stop using popular cartoons as references. pissing me off bc why does the character in the first one look dirty.
